Who Are We?

Black & Gold Armor^TM founders, Laura and Joe Ripple, are 2001 UCF Grads. After years of only being able to find “the best” UCF stuff at the campus bookstore, Laura and Joe decided it was about time someone created more choices for the growing UCF fan base.

Life-time fan Laura is the daughter of UCF grads and grew up going to UCF football games since the 1980s. Excited by the growth she has seen in the program over the past few years, she is determined to help cheer on the Golden Knights to victory at every turn.

While Joe may have grown up in a family of grads from another well-known Florida school – FSU – he became an avid UCF fan the moment he stepped on to the University of Central Florida campus. If you want to talk UCF football – Joe is your man.

This fanatic couple can be seen at any home game tailgating before the game and at as many away games as they can make it to. Look for them at the games to debut Black & Gold Armor’s^TM finest!
